In accordance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, we have established a transparent cancellation and refund policy to protect the interests of our esteemed buyers/investors.
- Cancellation Request : Buyers have the right to cancel their booking within 30 days from the date of booking. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to theworld@hindva.com or through a registered postal
address via Registered Post with Acknowledgement Due (AD) : The World (Finance & Legal Department) B/s SMC EV Station & Sports Complex Magob, Surat – 395010, Gujarat (India) - Refund Eligibility : If the cancellation request is received within the 30-day period and no further payments beyond the initial token amount have been made, the buyer is eligible for a full refund of the token amount. Cancellations made after the 30-day period or after subsequent payments will be subject to standard cancellation charges as outlined in the agreement of sale.
- Refund Process : Refunds will be processed within 45 days from the date of approval of the booking cancellation request. The approval of the cancellation request will be completed within 7 working days of receipt. The refund will be credited to the same account from which the payment was made or via a method mutually agreed upon in writing.
- Deductions : For cancellations beyond the initial 30-day period, cancellation charges may be deducted from the refund amount. These charges may include, but are not limited to, an administrative fee, transaction charges, applicable taxes, and liquidated damages up to 10% of the total property cost or as per the provisions of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA).
- Non-Compliance with Legal Requirements : If the buyer’s details and documents do not comply with the legal requirements set forth by RERA, the Booking will be cancelled. In such cases, a nominal administrative fee, transaction charges, and applicable taxes may be deducted from the refund amount.
